Here we are another year come and gone. 2009 seems to have passed too quickly.  Last year was a good year for our CT Prime Timers and what a great Christmas Party we had to close the year! Attendance was great and everyone had a fabulous time. A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it a success.  As a member of Prime Timers World-Wide, we have been advised that there will be an increase in dues for the coming year. Unfortunately, we have to pass that increase on to our local members and your Board of Directors have decided to increase our local dues by 10%.  Dues for the coming year will be $22.00. Connecticut continues to have one of the lowest dues in the States.

 

With a new year facing us we continue to have a number of exciting events planned.  First we have our annual membership Pasta Extravaganza on Wednesday, February 3.  It is FREE to all members in good standing (invited guests must pay $12.00).  Door prizes, a silent auction and raffle will add to the evening's festivities.  The next big planned event will be our gala fourth anniversary celebration that will be held on Saturday, March 27 .  Not only will it be a great party, but its a celebration of what our organization is all about. It also represents a wonderful opportunity for you to invite people who are not familiar with Prime Timers. One need not be a member to attend. Invite your family and friends....everyone is welcome.

 

Our membership has grown and the total membership as of this writing stands at 145. It is the responsibility of each member to spread the word about our organization and the social activities we offer. Additionally, we are asking that you consider joining our Board of Directors. We need your talent and energy.  And last, but not least, we need your input. We need to know what activity you might enjoy, so its important that you communicate with us. The Events Committee works very hard to put together special events, but it needs your help and most importantly, we need your support.
